We’re pleased to share that McDonald’s Global has completed a DCAM assessment as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening enterprise-wide data governance and accelerating data maturity.
With over 43,000 restaurants across more than 100 countries, McDonald’s operates on a massive global scale. To meet the demands of such a complex environment, the organization adopted the EDM Council’s DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model) framework to establish a consistent, scalable approach to data quality, control, and analytics.
Supported by Expleo and Element22, the DCAM assessment provided McDonald’s with a clear benchmark of current capabilities, identified critical gaps, and helped align data initiatives with the organization’s broader digital transformation goals. The result is a practical, actionable roadmap to advance McDonald’s data capabilities and support long-term business growth.
McDonald’s is also participating in the EDM Council’s Data Excellence Program, reinforcing its leadership in adopting best practices for data management and governance.
