EDM Association issues CDMC certification to solutions and businesses that successfully complete CDMC assessments conducted by an Authorized Partner. The certifications designate a solution’s or business’s credibility in adopting defined best practices for managing data in the cloud.

For Cloud Service & Cloud Solution Providers

Certification based on the CDMC 14 Key Controls & Automations 

  • CDMC Certified Solutions
    • Conducted by independent CAP partner executing specific or all 14 key controls & automations
    • EDM Association issues a digital “CDMC Certified Solution” Digital Badge valid for 12 months

For End Companies

Certification based on the CDMC Framework

  • CDMC Readiness Assessments
    • Determine gap areas in CDMC Framework Capabilities & Key Controls
    • Companies can self-assess or engage a CAP partner
    • Companies optionally can leverage available CDMC Certified Solutions to accelerate CDMC Certification
  • Certification Assessments
    • Conducted by independent CAP partners reviewing comprehensive CDMC Framework for specific scope of business
    • CDMC certification requires achieving all CDMC Framework sub-capabilities and evidencing all 14 Key Controls
    • EDM Association issues a digital “CDMC Certified Business” Digital Badge valid for 12 months

CDMC Authorized Partners

The EDM Association’s Authorized Partner program is an optional support program for companies that wish to conduct an independent assessment or certification of their cloud data management capabilities. Authorized Partners are trained and certified by the EDM Association and are licensed to deliver CDMC-based assessments, certifications and training.
