Mentoring Program

Want to Boost Your Career? Join the Women Data Professionals Mentoring Program!

Registration is now CLOSED for the Spring 2023 program. Watch for future updates.

EDM Council’s WDP (Women Data Professionals) Mentoring Program is focused on supporting women with work experience who are striving to advance their careers to the next level. We invite professional women (or men) with 20+ years experience to participate as Mentors in the program. Women who are in earlier stages of their data careers and have some experience are invited to join as Mentees. The WDP Mentoring team believes that women who have mentors have a better chance of advancing their careers to the level they wish to achieve. We also believe learning from the experiences of others can help women better manage the challenge of balancing work and personal life!

The program is run in sessions lasting 3-4 months. It brings together groups of mentees and mentors into teams that meet virtually during the session, following a virtual kick-off event and a final wrap-up concluding event. Participants will commit to 5-6 hours over the course of the 3-4 month session. Senior leaders from the EDM Council community will provide guidance and support on topics of interest provided by mentees.
