The EDM Association (EDMA) is in the process of expanding its Cloud Data Management Capabilities (CDMC) assessment and certification framework to include artificial intelligence. The nonprofit trade group released the CDMC in 2021 to develop and implement standards and best practices for handling sensitive data within cloud environments, thus allowing firms to gain more control over their data assets.
