Online, self-paced eLearning
This online course delves into the importance of Data Ethics & Responsible AI in data management organizations. This course identifies basic ethical principles pertaining to data and describes how these arise from three general ethical frameworks. Participants will consider the Data Ethics implications of several case studies and current events in an interactive setting. Most importantly, participants will learn how to recognize the Data Ethics aspects of the DCAM (Data Management Capabilities Assessment Model) framework for application in real-world situations.
This course is a great fit for stewards of business data, information professionals seeking guidance in this emerging area, and professionals who have been asked to implement or participate in a data governance program. There are no formal prerequisites for this class—just a desire to learn about Data Ethics and a general understanding of data management principles.
