EDM Council is coming to Australia! We are pleased to announce that EDM Council is further expanding our chapter in the Asia-Pacific region, with more training, local events and networking opportunities for our members and other prospective members and professionals across the region, starting with our initial events in July 2019.
We invite data management professionals and service providers to attend our upcoming programs to discuss today's important topics – including regulation, digital transformation, AI/ML and data ethics – and to learn best practices in data management.
All events are OPEN to both EDM Council members and non-members alike:

Half-day overview course suitable for all professionals
Discusses important concepts of data management - managing data as as asset, managing meaning, ensuring data is fit-for-purpose, and balancing data governance without inhibiting innovation. Gain the acumen needed to be successful in today's data-driven culture. Excellent precursor to the DCAM Framework course.

DCAM Framework V2 (18 July – 1:00-5:30pm and 19 July – 8:30am-5:30pm)
1.5-day course covering DCAM’s core components
Covers the latest DCAM model (V2) in a detailed, but practical and interactive manner. It describes the data management capabilities and processes to meet regulatory initiatives such as BCBS 239 and GDPR and to deliver measurable value to your business. The new DCAM V2 prepares your firm for advanced analytics, data ethics and powering your firm's AI/ML and Big Data initiatives.
